Stored script injection via missing nonce validation
Published Mar 8, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in WPFactory Wishlist for WooCommerce 3.1.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject stored scripts. The save_to_multiple_wishlist function accepts a forged request without valid nonce verification and persists attacker-controlled wishlist data containing script markup. Exploitation requires an administrator to act on the attacker's crafted link or request, after which the stored script can run in affected site sessions.
