Arbitrary file deletion via unchecked ClearFiles paths
Published Jan 31, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Arbitrary file deletion in jiangweifang Live2DWebCanvas 1.9.11 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to delete server files. The ClearFiles() function accepts an attacker-controlled file path without sufficient path validation and deletes the referenced file. Subscriber-level access is sufficient; deleting wp-config.php interrupts the site and exposes the WordPress setup flow to remote code execution.
