Unauthenticated file upload via missing type validation
Published Apr 4, 2025 · Updated Apr 4, 2025
Arbitrary file upload in Booster for WooCommerce 4.0.1 through 7.2.4 allows remote attackers to place files on the server. The validate_product_input_fields_on_add_to_cart function stores product input-field uploads without validating their file types. The Product Input Fields upload path must be exposed, and code execution additionally requires the server to execute the uploaded file type.
