Authenticated SSRF via unrestricted image-source retrieval
Published Feb 18, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Limited SSRF in Metagauss ProfileGrid 5.9.4.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to issue server-side image requests. The pm_upload_image handler processes subscriber-supplied image locations and causes requests to arbitrary local or remote hosts. Subscriber access is required; responses can disclose downloaded images and reveal whether non-image resources exist.
