Stored cross-site scripting in Pure Chat – Live Chat & More! 2.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject scripts via purechatWidgetName. The plugin accepts the purechatWidgetName form parameter without sufficient input sanitization and later renders it without adequate output escaping. The injected script runs when a user visits the affected page, enabling browser-context data access or page modification under that user’s session.
