Stored XSS via unsanitized social-icon link
Published Feb 27, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Techeshta Card Elements for Elementor 1.2.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in visitors' browsers. The Profile Card widget renders a contributor-supplied Social Icon link without sanitizing the URL or escaping it for HTML output. Contributor-level access is required to store the payload, and each visitor who opens the injected page triggers the script in that browser.
