Published Mar 25, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in bPlugins Alert Box Block 1.1.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through Alert Box attributes. The block accepts user-supplied attributes without sufficient input sanitization and renders them without adequate output escaping. Contributor-level access or higher is required; the stored script runs when a visitor opens the injected page, enabling browser-context data access or page modification.
