Reflected XSS via unsafe rf fallback redirect
Published Feb 23, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Reflected XSS in Accept Donations with PayPal & Stripe 1.4.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute scripts via a crafted rf parameter. Stripe::checkout_redirect embeds rf, sanitized only as text, in a JavaScript string and assigns it to window.location.href after checkout failure. No WordPress account is required, but a victim must open the crafted link; the script then runs in the affected site's browser origin.
