Stored XSS via unescaped shortcode attributes
Published Mar 26, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in CRM and Lead Management by vcita 2.7.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through shortcode attributes. The vCitaMeetingScheduler and vCitaSchedulingCalendar handlers render user-supplied attributes without sufficient sanitization or output escaping. Contributor-level access is required to store the payload in a page, and the script runs in a visitor's browser whenever that page is opened.
