Authenticated file read via unvalidated media path
Published Feb 18, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Improper input validation in Undsgn Uncode 2.9.1.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary server files. The uncode_recordMedia function passes insufficiently validated input into a server-side file read, so a caller can select files beyond intended media. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, and successful exploitation exposes readable server files without altering them or interrupting service.
