Command injection in GitHub Enterprise Server before 3.12 allows remote authenticated users to gain administrative SSH access. The Management Console passes attacker-controlled collectd usernames and passwords to command processing without neutralizing command elements. Exploitation requires instance access and an editor role in the Management Console, after which the appliance is exposed through administrative SSH.
