Activation-status modification via missing nonce validation
Published Jan 24, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Automate Hub Free by Sperse.IO 1.7.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to update activation status. The automate_hub administration page processes activation-status changes without correctly validating a WordPress nonce tied to the request. Exploitation requires a site administrator to submit the forged request, such as by clicking an attacker-controlled link; the reported consequence is limited to activation-status modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
