Stored XSS via unescaped space shortcode attributes
Published Feb 12, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in Admire Extra 1.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through the space shortcode. The shortcode handler accepts user-supplied attributes without sufficient input sanitization and renders them without adequate output escaping. Contributor-level access is required to store the payload, which executes in visitors' browsers when an injected page is opened.
