Authenticated log deletion via unchecked AJAX action
Published Jan 30, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Missing authorization in ECPay Ecommerce for WooCommerce 1.1.2411060 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to delete plugin logs. The clear_ecpay_debug_log AJAX action clears the plugin's log files without checking the caller's WordPress capability. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, and the bounded consequence is deletion of ECPay diagnostic log data.
