Subscriber-level post deletion via missing capability check
Published Feb 13, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Missing authorization in Read More & Accordion 3.4.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to delete arbitrary read-more posts. The expmDeleteData() function deletes the selected entry without checking whether the caller has deletion capability. Any logged-in subscriber can invoke the deletion path, causing unauthorized loss of attacker-selected plugin content.
