Private content disclosure via unchecked publication status
Published Mar 7, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Improper access control in VK Blocks 1.94.2.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read private content via the Page Content block. The block's server-side render callback retrieves and renders the referenced post or page without verifying that its publication status is public. Contributor-level access is sufficient to select a private post or page, exposing its content without granting modification or service interruption.
