Unauthenticated SSRF via unrestricted asset URL
Published Mar 25, 2025 · Updated Mar 25, 2025
SSRF in aoa-downloadable through 0.1.0 allows remote attackers to make arbitrary server-side URL requests through download.php. The endpoint accepts an attacker-controlled URL in the asset query parameter and fetches it without authentication, authorization, or destination restrictions. No account or user interaction is required; a reachable WordPress installation can be induced to contact internal or external resources with the web server's network access.
