Administrator-context script execution via unescaped ptl_event parameter
Published Feb 26, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2025
Reflected XSS in Agile Logix Post Timeline before 2.3.10 allows remote attackers to execute script in an administrator’s browser. The plugin’s post-timeline admin page returns the ptl_event query parameter without sanitization or output escaping. Exploitation requires a high-privilege user to open a crafted URL, after which injected script runs in that user’s browser context.
