CVE-2024-1356Network attack vector

Authenticated privileged command execution via CLI injection

Published Mar 5, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024

Command injection in Hewlett Packard Enterprise ArubaOS 10.5.0.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute privileged OS commands. The CLI fails to neutralize attacker-supplied command elements before passing them to the underlying operating system. Exploitation requires high-privilege authentication and grants command execution on affected controllers, access points, or SD-WAN gateways.
