Backup cancellation via unchecked anti-CSRF nonce
Published Feb 18, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in 1-Click Migration 2.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to cancel an active backup through a forged request. The cancel_actions() function accepts the cancellation request without correctly validating an anti-CSRF nonce. Exploitation requires a site administrator with an authenticated WordPress session to follow the attacker's link, interrupting the in-progress backup.
