Stored XSS via unescaped Image Accordion output
Published Feb 1, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in the Image Accordion widget in aThemes Addons for Elementor 1.0.12 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts. The Image Accordion renderer in class-image-accordion.php outputs attacker-controlled widget content without sufficient sanitization or escaping. Contributor-level access is sufficient, and the stored script executes in the browser of any user who opens the injected page, permitting actions in that user's web context.
