Site takeover via clientToken disclosure in logs
Published Feb 15, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Sensitive information exposure in Oliver POS 2.4.2.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to obtain a clientToken from plugin logs. The logging code records the clientToken in a file that remains accessible without authorization, and the token authorizes user-profile changes. No authentication is required; changing an administrator's email and password through the exposed token results in site takeover.
