Stored script injection via nonce-free saveAsCopy action
Published Apr 16, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Contact Form by Supsystic 1.7.29 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject stored scripts. The saveAsCopy AJAX action accepts attacker-controlled form settings without validating a WordPress nonce, then persists script-bearing values for later rendering. Exploitation requires a logged-in site administrator to submit the forged request, after which the stored script runs in affected administrative views.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
