CVE-2024-1345

Database root access via weak password guessing

Published Feb 19, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024

Weak password handling in LaborOfficeFree 19.10 allows local users to discover the MySQL root password through brute-force guessing. The MySQL root account uses a password with insufficient guessing resistance, allowing repeated candidate attempts to recover it. Local host access is required, and successful guessing grants database access capable of exposing data and permitting limited modification.
