Contributor-level stored XSS via unescaped style parameters
Published Feb 20, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in Elementor Website Builder 3.27.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts into pages. The style-control rendering path insufficiently sanitizes border, margin, and gap values and later emits them without adequate output escaping. Contributor-level access is required to store the payload, which executes in visitors' browsers whenever an injected page is accessed.
