Unauthenticated account takeover via unvalidated identity checks
Published Mar 19, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Authentication bypass in Aonetheme Service Finder Bookings 5.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to take over arbitrary accounts. The post-booking auto-login and profile-update paths accept an email-linked identity without properly validating that the requester owns it. No authentication is required; knowing a user's email address permits login as that user or a password change, including for administrators.
