Published Feb 18, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in SpeedSize Image & Video AI-Optimizer 1.5.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to clear its CSS cache. The speedsize_clear_css_cache_action function accepts a cache-clear request without correctly validating a WordPress nonce. Exploitation requires a site administrator to act on a forged request, such as by clicking a malicious link, and only clears cached CSS.
