Backup disclosure via weak directory permissions
Published Feb 19, 2024 · Updated Aug 13, 2024
Improper access control in LaborOfficeFree 19.10 allows local users to read backup files from its backup directory. The directory at %ProgramFiles(x86)%\LaborOfficeFree\BackUp retains permissions that let authenticated users open stored backup files. A low-privileged local account is sufficient, and the documented consequence is limited to disclosure of stored backup contents.
