Unauthenticated resume disclosure via unchecked object keys
Published Feb 1, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Authorization bypass in WP Job Portal 2.2.6 and earlier allows remote attackers to download stored user resumes without authentication. The getresumefiledownloadbyid() and getallresumefiles() functions accept a user-controlled key without validating authorization before returning resume files. Any network-reachable site with an affected plugin and stored resumes exposes those documents; the reported impact is limited to unauthorized reading.
