Subscriber-level site option changes via missing capability check
Published Jan 25, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Missing authorization in KaineLabs Youzify 1.3.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to set arbitrary site options to one. The youzify_offer_banner() handler fails to verify the caller's capability before applying a caller-selected WordPress option update. Subscriber-level access is sufficient; the bounded impact is modification of selected site settings, with no reported data read or code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
