Unauthenticated shortcode execution via unvalidated action value
Published Feb 13, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Code injection in ThemeFusion Avada Builder 3.11.13 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary shortcodes without authentication. An exposed action passes an inadequately validated value to WordPress do_shortcode, causing attacker-controlled shortcode content to be interpreted. No account or user interaction is required; the resulting effect is limited to shortcodes registered by WordPress and installed extensions.
