CVE-2024-13342Network attack vector

Arbitrary file upload via double-extension validation bypass

Published Aug 29, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026

Arbitrary file upload in Pluggabl Booster for WooCommerce 7.2.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to place double-extension files. The add_files_to_order function accepts uploaded filenames without validating the effective file type, allowing a dangerous first extension to pass through a double-extension name. Exploitation requires an enabled checkout upload path and a server configuration that executes the first extension; successful abuse permits server-side code execution.
