Settings modification via setup-page nonce validation failure
Published Apr 12, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
CSRF in Creativemotion Clearfy Cache 2.3.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to update plugin settings through forged requests. The setup-wbcr_clearfy page processes settings changes without correctly validating a WordPress nonce tied to the administrator request. Exploitation requires an authenticated site administrator to follow an attacker-controlled link or otherwise submit the forged request, and the documented consequence is limited to plugin-setting changes.
