CVE-2024-13333Network attack vector

Authenticated arbitrary file upload via missing validation

Published Jan 17, 2025 · Updated Feb 12, 2025

Unrestricted file upload in Advanced File Manager 5.2.12 through 5.2.13 allows remote authenticated users to write arbitrary server files. The fma_local_file_system function accepts upload content without validating or restricting dangerous file types. Exploitation requires Subscriber-level access, administrator-granted upload permission, and the Display .htaccess setting; uploaded executable files can lead to server-side code execution.
