Stored XSS via unescaped booking shortcode attributes
Published Jan 14, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in wpdevelop Booking Calendar 10.9.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject script through booking shortcode attributes. The shortcode passes user-supplied attributes to js/client.js without sufficient sanitization or output escaping, allowing crafted values to enter the page DOM as executable script. Contributor-level access is required to store the payload, which executes whenever a user opens the affected page and can act in that user's site session.
