Unauthenticated database disclosure via unescaped a_id query
Published May 2, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
SQL injection in Scripteo Ads Pro Plugin 4.88 and earlier allows remote attackers to read sensitive database data through the a_id parameter. The plugin inserts attacker-controlled a_id input into an existing SQL query without sufficient escaping or a prepared statement, allowing appended SQL queries. No authentication or user interaction is required; the documented consequence is extraction of sensitive database information, with no reported modification or interruption.
