Authenticated login bypass via incomplete session clearing
Published Jan 9, 2025 · Updated Jan 30, 2025
Improper authentication in Drupal Login Disable 2.0.0 through 2.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to bypass disabled login controls. The module fails to clear the authenticated session when its disabled-login control rejects a user, so successful credential validation persists. The user must already have a valid account, and exploitation restores that account's ordinary site access despite the module-level login block.
