Unauthorized state changes via missing CSRF tokens
Published Jan 9, 2025 · Updated Jan 10, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in Drupal Gutenberg before 2.13.0 and 3.0.0 through 3.0.4 lets remote attackers submit forged requests. Some module routes accept state-changing requests without validating a CSRF token; fixed releases add token protection to those routes. Exploitation requires tricking a user who has an active session and the use gutenberg permission, and resulting actions run with that user's authority.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=0.0.0 <2.13.0
