Revision disclosure via missing per-revision access checks
Published Jan 9, 2025 · Updated Jan 10, 2025
Incorrect authorization in Drupal Diff before 1.8.0 allows remote authenticated users to view restricted revision differences. The node and general-entity diff report paths render comparisons without sufficiently checking access to each requested revision. A role with general, bundle-specific, or equivalent entity revision-view permission is required, exposing revision content that the account cannot otherwise access.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
