Contributor-level stored XSS via unescaped HTML attributes
Published Mar 12, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Jegtheme Jeg Elementor Kit 2.6.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through HTML tag attributes. In Post_Block_View, the Post Block renderer inserts configurable HTML tag attributes into generated markup without sufficient sanitization or context-appropriate escaping. Contributor-level page-editing access is required, and the stored script executes in the browser whenever a user visits the injected page.
