CVE-2024-13244Network attack vector

Unauthorized migration initiation via unprotected route

Published Jan 9, 2025 · Updated Jan 10, 2025

Cross-site request forgery in Drupal Migrate Tools before 6.0.3 allows remote attackers to make an administrator initiate a migration. An unused migration route lacked sufficient request-authenticity protection and accepted a named migration under the administrator's session. Exploitation requires knowledge of that migration name and interaction by an authenticated administrator; the bounded consequence is unauthorized migration initiation.
