Private post disclosure via missing authorization check
Published Mar 11, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Information exposure in Themeum Qubely 1.8.13 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read nonpublic WordPress posts. The qubely_get_content AJAX handler accepts a caller-supplied post ID and returns the post without checking whether the caller may read it. Contributor-level access is sufficient to retrieve private, pending, scheduled, password-protected, draft, or trashed post content.
