Administrator-browser script execution via unescaped marker_id
Published Jan 31, 2025 · Updated Mar 20, 2025
Reflected XSS in Pragma Softwares Google Map Professional 1.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script in an administrator's browser. The googlemarker-admin page inserts the marker_id query parameter into the response without sanitizing or escaping it. Exploitation requires a high-privilege WordPress user to open a crafted administration URL, executing attacker-supplied script in that authenticated browser context.
