Administrator-session script execution via unescaped vp parameter
Published Jan 31, 2025 · Updated Mar 14, 2025
Reflected XSS in Caspie Fast Tube 2.3.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to run script in an administrator's browser via a crafted URL. The fast-tube-gallery.php administration page returns the vp query parameter in HTML without sanitization or output escaping. An administrator must open the URL while authenticated; the injected script then runs in that privileged browser session and can read or alter accessible page data.
