Stored XSS via unescaped Facebook Page URL
Published Apr 15, 2025 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
Stored XSS in Buttonizer’s Facebook feed widget before 6.4.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript via a crafted URL. The Facebook Page URL setting stores attacker-supplied markup without adequate sanitization and later renders it on the front end without output escaping. Administrator-level widget access is required, and the payload runs when another user visits and hovers over the affected widget.
