Authenticated file write via unrestricted upload
Published Jan 9, 2025 · Updated Jan 9, 2025
Unrestricted file upload in wander-chu SpringBoot-Blog 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to write attacker-chosen files through its admin handler. The upload function in AttachtController.java accepts the supplied file without restricting dangerous file types before storage. Access requires high application privileges, and the published evidence establishes file placement but not subsequent execution.
