Stored XSS via unescaped offline status
Published Mar 9, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Metagauss EventPrime 3.4.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject scripts through the offline_status parameter. The plugin accepts offline_status without sufficient sanitization and later emits the stored value without context-appropriate output escaping. No authentication is required to plant the payload, and the script runs in the browser of any user who opens the affected page.
