Authenticated SQL injection in image management
Published Jan 8, 2025 · Updated Jan 9, 2025
SQL injection in SEMCMS 4.0 through 4.8 allows remote authenticated users to read or alter database data through SEMCMS_Images.php. The CNA record and its now-broken proof-of-concept reference do not disclose the input parameter or the unsafe query operation. A low-privilege account can reach the image-library handler without user interaction, with database confidentiality, integrity, and availability at risk.
