Attendee-list disclosure via unchecked shortcode event ID
Published Mar 4, 2024 · Updated Mar 27, 2025
Improper access control in Event Tickets Plus before 5.9.1 allows remote authenticated users to read restricted attendee lists. The tribe_attendees_list shortcode accepts an arbitrary event post ID and renders its attendee list without enforcing access to the referenced post. Contributor-level access is sufficient, and the source post can be draft, private, pending review, password-protected, or trashed.
