CVE-2024-13187Public exploit

TCC bypass via unhardened dylib injection

Published Jan 8, 2025 · Updated Jan 8, 2025

Code injection in the TCC handler of Kingsoft WPS Office 6.14.0 for macOS allows local users to access TCC-protected resources. The app is signed without Hardened Runtime, so DYLD_INSERT_LIBRARIES loads an attacker-controlled dylib into its process with inherited permissions. Local low-privilege access is required; exploitation exposes only resources already granted to WPS, including protected files, camera, and microphone.
